PMP Boot Camp

The PMP designation is the most sought-after certification in the project management arena.  Not only will it bring a common language to the day-to-day communications among and across teams, it will also allow for the application of best practices to your specific projects and enable more timely, higher quality, and on-point delivery of results all while managing customer expectations and improving customer and team satisfaction. It is in this forum that the team continues to grow, gel and create synergies that last long after the boot camp is complete.

The eight sessions will be held on the following Wednesdays and Thursdays from 5:30 PM - 9:30 PM:  9/03, 9/09, 9/10, 9/17, 9/23, 9/24, 9/30 and 10/01.

The Ouellette Group approach to the PMP Certification designation includes three areas: Content, Exam techniques, and Personalized coaching for each participant. They ensure that the content is fully covered, including the PMBoK, Project Management Role Delineation, and supplementary materials all which require mastery to successfully pass the exam. Analysis and decomposition of each test question is a combination of technique and art, as such test-taking techniques will be a focus. They will use sample test questions to not only validate and inform on content areas mastered or needing improvement, but also to decompose and evaluate each question to elicit the right response.

Each student attending this virtual training in real time has the option to be personally coached through the PMP process. This entails a one:one relationship with the instructor. Based on sample tests throughout the course metrics are gathered. These metrics are used in conjunction with in-class participation to recommend focus areas, action steps, and best timing to sit for the actual exam.  This coaching relationship creates accountability within each student, including agreed upon milestones, deliverables, and expected communications.

Learning Goals: After this course, attendees should be able to:
   - Become fluent in the language of Project Management; Apply PM practices
   - Recognize/identify the 5 major project mgt process groups; 10 knowledge areas; 47 project mgt processes
   - Correctly identify the key inputs/outputs, tools and techniques of the various project management processes
   - Calculate and apply fundamental project management formulas needed for the exam
   - Understand the test format and types of questions found on the exam
   - Perform test taking strategies to reduce stress and deduce correct answers.

Registration fees for this course includes course materials; prep study book; PMBOK; exam and study simulation software; live facilitation and instruction; personal coaching up to 30 days. The exam fee is not included.

Note: This course provides the prerequisite 35 hours required to take the exam (between the class time and the exam simulation software that will be used for homework between sessions).

She has served as the Advisor and initial manager of the Disciplined Agile Chapter Champion Program 2019-2020, Chapter Member Advisory Group 2016-2019, PMINYC BoD 2008-2010 (President 2009), and in many other areas too numerous to list here (

Beth has earned the PMP, PgMP, PBA, CDA, DASLM, CDAI, and CDAC designations, and the PMI Fellow Award – 2018 for accumulated years of Project Management Global service.

Cancellation Policy

1) To 8/15/2020 - Refund of registration fees, less a non-refundable $10 processing charge.
2) 8/16 to 8/31 - Refund registration fee less a $200 fee for materials, shipping and processing charge.

3) After 8/31/2020 - No refunds.
4) If course is cancelled, 100% refund.
