Mentoring Workshop- Closing Your Mentee Relationship

Sooner or later, your mentoring partnership will come to a close. This allows your mentee to move on to other helpers and broaden skillsets. It also allows you to share your experience and perspectives with other mentees.

Ending a mentor relationship is a process. About one month before it’s due to end, every mentor should think about this transition. They should not, however, let their partnership fade away just because routine interactions with their mentees are ending.

At our workshop, you will learn how to prepare for the finish, how to recap the mentee's progress, conduct a final review, as well as how to set up the next phase of your relationship.

Speaker Info

Project manager, IT leader, and educator Jack Davis will discuss tools for building strategic goals with mentees and present a planning template for mapping objectives and measuring progress, as well as easy and effective tactics for trouble-shooting mentoring relationship challenges.
