NYU School of Professional Studies has partnered with the Project Management Institute of New York City Chapter (PMINYC) to host a panel discussion on the current and emerging trends in project management and how the profession is evolving. Project managers are expected to do more than administer projects as they have become indispensable to business success. Expectations of these professionals have grown since they are now involved in making business decisions, translating strategic objectives into concrete initiatives, implementing new methodologies and technologies, and taking on greater leadership roles.

During this discussion, the panelists will share their professional experiences and trends in successfully implementing project management techniques and navigating their roles in different industries. They will provide insight into the constantly changing practice of project management.

The event will serve as a networking opportunity for PMINYC members, professional project managers, NYU faculty and students (graduate and noncredit), and alumni while reflecting on the evolution of the field.

There is a complimentary event co-hosted with NYUSPS. Members can claim 1 Leadership PDU.
