During this encore event, professional photographers will create a headshot for you, suitable to post with your LinkedIn profile. Each participant will be assigned to a time slot and receive one to two photographs. In addition, consultants will be on hand to offer suggestions on techniques to enhance your personal branding. There will be time for one-on-one sessions and networking.

Here are 10 tips to help you prepare for your headshot: 

 

1)      Dress appropriately for your industry. Business suits are not required. 

2)      Keep it simple! Choose dark, solid colors, rather than white and light colors.

3)      Avoid distracting patterns, turtlenecks, heavy jewelry and loud scarves/ties.

4)      Clothing should be neat, clean and well fitted.

 

5)      Feel free to bring some alternate outfits (different colors, necklines, etc.)

 

6)      Wear clothing that is comfortable and makes you feel good.

 

7)      Women – For your makeup, a clean, natural look is best. Bring along your cosmetic kit with comb/brush, lip color, face powder, makeup, etc.

 

8)      Representatives from Aveda will provide touchups to styling and makeup so you will look your best.

 

9)      Get your beauty sleep the night before.

 

10)   The photographers will take care of everything else to make you look your best!

Our meeting facility sponsor requires advance notice of those wishing to attend meetings.  Walk-ins will not be allowed at this venue. Registration is required for all meetings.  Each meeting notice has a link to the registration process when registration opens.
