Research shows that the leading cause of project failure is inadequate support from senior management.  All too often, executives inherit the role of project sponsor without coaching in the scope and critical importance of that responsibility.  In this presentation, John will clarify the responsibilities of the project sponsor, the project manager and the project team.  The presentation will explain the executive sponsor’s role in project selection, project governance, project planning and preparation, project execution and communication, and project closure.
