Education Offerings

  • Creative Change Leadership (8/18) - This presentation addresses the effect of change within an organization and offers suggestions about how to plan for change, how to involve the entire organization, and how to minimize the fear and anxiety generally associated with change.
  • Disciplined Agile Webinar (8/19) - Disciplined Agile (DA) is the topic of many conversations in our PMI Community. We hear these kinds of questions:
    - What is Disciplined Agile?
    - What's the value of DA to Chapter Members?
    - How can you bring value to your team with DA?
    - How do I get started?
    - What is possible for your personal roadmap?
    Join us to hear Beth Ouellette share answers to all these questions and more. She will guide us through key components of Disciplined Agile as she shares practical applications, analogies and stories to connect the dots.
  • Foundations of Agile Workshop (8/28) - This course teaches you the foundation for successfully starting an Agile way of working inside your team. It also satisfies the prerequisite of Agile knowledge for the DALSM exam.    
  • Foundations of Lean Workshop (8/29) - This course shows how Lean employs concepts such as eliminating waste, cost of delay, quality, rapid feedback and response, and the role of management.  It also satisfies the prerequisite of Lean knowledge for the DALSM exam.

  • PMP Book Camp (8 sessions between 9/03 - 10/01) - The PMP designation will it bring a common language to the day-to-day communications among and across teams, it will also allow for the application of best practices to your specific projects and enable more timely, higher quality, and on-point delivery of results all while managing customer expectations and improving customer and team satisfaction.
  • Foundations of Disciplined Agile, Choosing your WoW (9/11 - 9/12)  - This Disciplined Agile Lean Scrum Master (DALSM) training course provides tools and strategies to help you lead an agile team, influence people, and remove impediments. Using real-world agile strategies, you will learn how to tailor your team’s Way of Working (WoW) to optimize productivity and continuously improve. Upon completion of this workshop, you will be prepared to begin your Disciplined Agile certification journey.
  • Scrum in 1 Day Workshop (9/26)  - Are you new to agile? Does your team currently practice Scrum, and you want to more effectively apply the framework? This workshop is for anyone who wants to learn about and or improve their agile practice. Becoming an agile servant leader requires different ways of thinking.
