Agile: Hands on Project Management using LEAN examples (laptops required)

The implementation of traditional project management processes, tools and techniques and the enablers of Lean project management on the same project scenario will be practiced using the Project Team Builder the PMI product of the year award winner.

Participants will use the Project Team Builder to plan, monitor and control project scenarios using traditional tools and techniques as well as Lean key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Participants will learn how to build their real projects into the Project Team Builder and to perform dry runs of potential project plans for each of the lean iterations.

 

Professor Avraham Shtub holds the Stephen and Sharon Seiden Chair in Project Management. He has a B.Sc in Electrical Engineering from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology (1974), an MBA from Tel Aviv University (1978) and a Ph.D in Management Science and Industrial Engineering from the University of Washington (1982).

He has been a consultant to industry in the areas of project management, training by simulators and the design of production - operation systems. He was invited to speak at special seminars on Project Management and Operations in Europe, the Far East, North America, South America and Australia.
