Project Widgets will deliver a Webinar on two (2) consecutive Saturdays:  March 3 & March 10 (11:00 am - 1:00 pm EDT) on the  following Microsoft Project topics:

  • Recording and editing basic macros.
  • Assigning a macro to the Microsoft Project ribbon.
  • Creating a macro to set the baseline for all tasks in your project that have not yet been baselined.
  • Creating a “hammock” task that dynamically calculates Duration based upon its Start and Finish “driving tasks.”
  • Rounding Duration and Work values to the next highest whole number.
  • Removing the displayed Units from a resource name next to a Gantt Chart bar.
  • Creating a routine to inflate or deflate work by a specified %.
  • Distributing your macros to other users.
  • Using macros with standalone Project and Project Server.
  • Importing and updating tasks from a Microsoft Excel file.
  • Using automation to import resource rates from a Microsoft Excel file.
  • Creating a “batch” project update utility by exporting a Project Center view to Excel.
  • Creating a PowerPoint presentation that includes a Microsoft Project timeline at the click of a button.
  • Importing calendar data from Outlook to a Microsoft Project calendar.


Registration is for both Saturday Sessions ;  registration for either Saturday Session as a single 2-hour webinar is not available
