"The Four "C"s of Project Communications"  -- Control, Cost, Community and Charisma
In this presentation, Carl Pritchard, PMP, PMI-RMP (and a former member of the dreaded "media") offers four key considerations to make your communications events more lasting, powerful and effective.  Carl drives home how to build a sense of community, even with widely diverse audiences.  He explains how ceding communications control to others makes your messages more on-point, and examines the cost-benefit of the average communications experience.  Participants will walk away with practices they can apply tomorrow to make their next communications experience one that others will want to repeat!

Carl Pritchard, PMP, PMI-RMP is a veteran speaker on the PMI lecture circuit and has presented to chapters from Cleveland to Sydney.  He's been in project management for almost 30 years, and is recognized as the "fun guy" of risk management.  He's the author of seven texts, including The Project Management Communications Tool Kit and The Project Management Drill Book.  He co-produced the new Audio PMP Prep: Conversations on Passing the PMP Exam (CRC Press), just released this year.  He's the U.S. Correspondent for the magazine Project Manager Today (U.K.), and sits on the board of directors for ProjectConnections.com
