- The eight questions which Project Leaders shold ask to ensure the success of their project
- The most common root causes of project failure and
- The billion dollar project blunder case story to illustrate the relevance of the root causes.




Uri spent most of his career in senior Management Consulting positions, including Global Partner with the Consulting Firm Accenture in South Africa, Vice President at Oracle Corporation in the USA, and Senior VP with Pricewaterhouse Coopers in Canada. In these roles, Uri helped his C-Level clients and their teams develop business strategies and implement complex business transformation projects.

In the last 8 years, Uri transitioned from active consulting to mentoring, coaching, writing, and speaking on topics such as Leadership, Organizational Transformation, and Personal Development.

Uri earned both his MSc in Bio-Medical Engineering and his MBA in South Africa. Uri is a member of the International Coach Federation (ICF) and was certified as a Corporate Coach.

Uri is an avid traveler, amateur photographer, and long distance runner.

Refund Policy*

Registration fees for paid guests, less a non-refundable $5 processing charge, are refundable if cancellation is received by noon on January 14, 2018.

Registration will close if  maximimum venue capacity is reached prior to the January 14 registration close date. No walk in registration allowed on day of event.

Networking time before meeting start - 5:30 - 6pm
6:00pm - 6:10 Opening meeting announcements and welcome
6:10pm - 6:45pm - Business meeting - Karen and Stephen
6:45pm - 8pm - Speaker presentation
8pm - 8:15pm - Meeting closing announcements



PMI members will receive 1 PDU in category Business & Strategic for attending this event. This will be auto-reported to PMI Global for PMI NYC Chapter Members.  Non-chapter members will need to self-report.

Venue Details


Our meeting facility sponsor requires advance notice of those wishing to attend meetings.  Walk-ins will not be allowed at this venue. Registration is required for all meetings.  Each meeting notice has a link to the registration process when registration opens.

Dress Code: Business Casual

Picture ID: All participants may be required to show a Picture ID to the Security Personnel for admittance to the meeting.
