Q: Where is the Symposium being held?

Q: Who can I contact with questions about the Symposium?

Q: What should I wear to the Symposium?
A: Attire is business casual.

 

Q: What type of food will be available at the Symposium?
A: Coffee and pastries will be available in the morning, and we will serve a boxed lunch.

Q: Do you accommodate my special needs requests?
A: Please let us know if you need us to accommodate a disability or other special needs. When registering, please include this information in the “Special Instructions and Comments” field.

During registration, you can also let us know if you have any special dietary needs (gluten-free, vegetarian, vegan).  

  

Q: Is smoking permitted?
A: New York Law School and the RGP offices are non-smoking buildings. Smoking is permitted only in designated smoking areas outside the buildings.

 

Q: Are photography and video allowed at the Symposium?
A: The use of cameras, cell phone cameras, video recorders and any other type of recording device is prohibited during any of the Symposium presentations (except by authorized personnel).

 

Q: How can I follow the Symposium on social media or post about it?
A: Use the hashtag #RaiseYourPMIQ when posting or searching on social media for the latest on the Symposium.

Please Note: Symposium attendees are encouraged to share their insights and experiences at PMINYC events on social media and blogs and may link to content on the PMINYC website. Attendees may not distribute, display, or post online any recordings, transcriptions, or copies of sessions at PMINYC events without the express written permission of PMINYC.

Any person attending the PMINYC Symposium grants permission to PMINYC to use and publish his or her image or likeness collected in connection with the event for any usual and customary purpose.

PMINYC does not assume responsibility or liability for stolen, lost, or damaged personal property.

 

Registration

Q: How much does it cost to attend the Symposium?

The cost is dependent on your PMINYC membership status and whether or not you attend both days of the Symposium. There are also discounts for those who are students, military or unemployed.

Q: When does online registration end?

Early-bird registration has been extended, and now ends at 11:59 p.m. on Feb 18, 2018
Regular registration ends at 11:59 p.m. on April 16, 2018

 

Q: What does the registration fee cover?

A: Your Symposium registration fee covers morning coffee, refreshment breaks, lunches, the opportunity to meet with project management professionals from around the New York City area, access to presentation materials online, conference materials and a gift.

 

Q: Is there a group rate?

Bring up to 10 attendees to Friday’s main session (April 20) and get a discount rate:

  • Early Bird - through February 18: $1,800

  • Regular - through April 16 : $2,200

Notes :

> There are No Group rates for Saturday or Combo (Fri & Sat).

> Beyond 10 people, each additional registrant is prorated. 

> To Register a Group - Please email symposium@pminyc.org prior to the deadlines above.

 

Q: Does the Symposium allow walk-in registrations?
Walk-in registrations are possible for the Friday session, but not for Saturday.

Q: How will I receive my name tag and Symposium materials?
A:On the first day of the Symposium, you will pick up your nametag and accompanying materials at the entranceway of New York Law. If you are only attending the Saturday session, your nametag and materials will be waiting in the entranceway of the RGP offices.

Payment

Q: What payment methods are accepted?
A: You can pay using any of these credit cards: MasterCard, Visa, Discover or American Express.

Q: How do I receive a receipt for my registration?
Once your registration is paid in full, you will receive a confirmation via email. The email serves as your receipt.

 

Cancellations/Refunds

Q: What is the cancellation policy?

Registration fees, less a non-refundable processing charge, are refundable if cancellation is received by the registration deadline. See below for details.

In order to get a refund, email symposium@pminyc.org & vpfinance@pminyc.org before March 25, 2018. No refunds will be given after this date.

Substitutions are accepted with fee adjustment, if applicable. Sharing of registrations is not permitted.

Q: How will Symposium fees be refunded?

Fees will be refunded using the same method by which you paid. Refunds will not be given to no-show registrants who do not attend without cancelling in advance.
