Voting Process

Voting is scheduled from August 28, 2017 through September 22, 2017.  Be sure to vote early especially if you might be out of the office during the election period!

Ballots will be sent to the primary e-mail address of active PMINYC members, as stored in the member’s PMI profile. Sign in to https://my.pmi.org/profile/personal  and ensure that your e-mail address is up to date.  Your primary e-mail address will be used for all communications regarding the election, including distribution of electronic ballots and auditing of election results.  This is extremely important!

If you have an e-mail filter on that e-mail address, please update it to allow e-mails from pmelections@pminyc.org

Periodic reminders will be sent to you until you have voted, or the voting period ends. If you do not receive a ballot, please send a note to pmelections@pminyc.org for alternate voting instructions.

Volunteer

Volunteering provides a great opportunity to enhance your project management and leadership skills. If you are not a volunteer, you are missing a great experience and the Chapter Leadership encourages you to consider joining the volunteer team. Volunteering benefits the chapter in many ways and opens a path to leadership positions including board of director assignments.  Your personal involvement helps shape the chapter by connecting the membership to planning and future decision making, which ensures greater responsiveness to member needs and interests. Gain experience as a member of a program team  which may generate interest in choosing to run for a higher level  leadership position in the future.
