Jodi Katzman is an award-winning project management professional with success orchestrating 100+ high-profile, world-class events, business programs, television projects, media and cultural events for 20 -25,000 participants.

The scope of her work spans national and international sporting events such as the Beijing/Atlanta Olympics, Special Olympics USA, the culturally iconic Desert Storm Parade honoring the service of our military to the New York City Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade and 4th of July Fireworks. Annual televised award shows like The Grammy’s and The Miss America Pageant are just a few of the high profile media events Jodi has managed. Through motivational leadership, clear communication, deft negotiation and innovation she has delivered top results for leading corporations worldwide.

This program is intended to demonstrate how project management reaches beyond the bounds of IT into the world of media and entertainment. It will serve to educate members on how PM is utilized to manage highly visible projects that are international, televised, projects with countless stakeholders where there is no room for failure. The notion of the PM’s lack of creativity will be dissolved and highlight how creative aptitude and ingenuity in tandem with PM methodologies breathe life into timeless special events that color our lives.
